After a five-movie spate at Universal that resurrected his career, M. Night Shyamalan now has a first-look deal at Warner Bros. Pictures. So what’s the first film of Shyamalan’s at his new studio home? That would be “Trap,” a thriller that stars his eldest daughter, rising music star Saleka Shyamalan.

And since this is an M. Night Shyamalan movie, expect it to have a twist or two. And at least one of those twists gets revealed in the new trailer for “Trap,” but we won’t spoil it for you now. Instead, here’s an official synopsis for the film, courtesy of Warner Bros.:
A father and teen daughter attend a pop concert, where they realize they’re at the center of a dark and sinister event.
Josh Hartnett stars in “Trap” with Ariel Donoghue, Hayley Mills, Allison Pill, and Saleka Shyamalan. Shyamalan writes and directs the film, and leads producers with Ashwin Rajan and Marc Bienstock. Executive producers include Steven Schneider.
