'Cobra Kai' Season 6: Netflix Breaks Show's Final Season Into Three Parts, Part 1 Premieres This Summer

All good things come to an end, but in the case of “Cobra Kai,” Netflix wants to make the goodbye last as long as possible. The streamer announced today that their popular series’ sixth and final season will premiere in three parts, with the first arriving this summer. Is this a sign of things to come for “Stranger Things” Season 5? Count on it, as that’s another farewell Netflix will milk for all its worth.

Part 1 of “Cobra Kai” arrives on July 18, with Part 2 premiering on November 28. Meanwhile, Part 3, deemed “The Finale Event,” won’t hit the streamer until 2025. Given the stretch between Parts 1 and 2, expect it The Finale Event to premiere on Netflix in late April.

Macchio and Zabka also serve as executive producers.
